Beer, Pretzels & Lots of Good Cheer
Thanks to everyone who came out to join us at Brave Horse Tavern on January 24 to celebrate Cancer Lifeline’s Young Adult Cancer Support Group. It was a great turnout – lots of good cheer, good beer and good vibrations!
We are pleased to report that we raised $1500 at last night’s event! Thanks to all who bought a raffle ticket and/or made a donation. If you would like to help us blow past our goal, click here. Your donation helps us keep all our programs such as the Young Adult Cancer Support Group free and accessible to all.
Shout outs to Brave Horse and Tom Douglas for hosting the event, to Happy Hour Co-Chairs Bethany Murphy and Shelley Westover and to our board chair Ben Hicks for their leadership, to our speaker Eric Schwortz for sharing his story, and to photographer Sam Westover with Sanderling Photography for capturing the event.
Raffle prizes were donated by: J&A’s Winery, Rachel Smith Fitness, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Seattle Storm, Rooftop Brew Company, Sanderling Photography, PCC, Brave Horse Tavern, and Pilates Seattle International.
