In this 4-part series, we will explore relationships affected by the realities of living with cancer and play with ways that support healing in those relationships. Each part of the series builds on the next and it is helpful to attend all four but not a requirement.
In January, we will explore the meaning of friendship.
In February, we will reflect on a meaningful moment in a relationship.
In March, we will work with unresolved issues in a relationship.
In April, we will experiment with the steps to bring closure to a relationship.
Visual storytelling allows for the expression of the deeper meaning of a friendship or other relationship through oral storytelling coupled with embodied reflections of what observers hear to support the investigation of the meaning of the issues within the relationship. This will be an engaging, interactive series of workshops. Come prepared to experiment playfully with what can be challenging topics and gain insights to enhance your interactions with your loved ones.
Dates: Tuesdays, Jan 12, Feb 9, Mar 9, Apr 13
