As our potential for feeling alone continues as the one-year mark of pandemic isolation approaches, and our fatigue with videoconferencing grows, we can reduce our sense of isolation and renew our energy with these playful approaches on Zoom.
Why play? Play brings us into a state of natural rest and allows our curiosity to flourish, sending a balanced flow state to our bodies.
In this workshop, we will experiment with many little ways to allow play to be a part of the Zoom story, investigating: the Zoom camera lens, mirroring and self-reflecting moments, the locality of the places where we connect, movements to relieve our eyes and our sitting stance, new ways to share gifts of uniqueness, playing back what we see, scavenger hunting for shared meaning, and, of course, a dramatic goodbye.
