Breakfast with Friends raises $170,000!
Three hundred generous friends and supporters gathered at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel on March 15 for the 2018 Breakfast with Friends. PSBJ columnist and principal of the Payne Group, Patti Payne was event emcee.
Guest speaker and nationally acclaimed author, comic, and two-time cancer survivor, Terri Tate, provided a look at cancer through the lens of a humorist leaving guests laughing and crying at the same time.
Rose Guerrero, director of the oncology support program at EvergreenHealth, was awarded the prestigious Barbara Frederick Award for Vision & Leadership.
Breakfast with Friends is an annual event that raises funds for all of Cancer Lifeline’s support services from classes and educational programs to the lifeline and support groups. The $170,000 revenue from this year’s event will impact the lives of over 7,500 men and women living with cancer before the end of the year.
