The holidays are around the corner and can stir up many emotions — joy, gratitude, nostalgia, and sometimes deep loneliness. For those living with cancer or caring for someone who is, the coming season may feel different from years past. Traditions shift. Energy changes. The familiar rhythms of life can feel uncertain.
At Cancer Lifeline, we want you to know that whatever season you find yourself in — whether one of celebration, transition, or quiet reflection — we are with you. Our mission is to ensure that no one faces cancer alone, and that includes moments when connection feels hardest to reach.
Finding Your Circle of Support
One of the most potent antidotes to loneliness is community. Our support groups offer a safe and welcoming space to share your story, listen to others, and find understanding among people who truly “get it.” Every conversation becomes a reminder that you belong.

A Gentle Invitation
As we move through the holidays and into a new year, we invite you to reach out, join a group, attend a class, or simply call our Lifeline to talk (1-800-255-5505). Even one small act of connection can ease the weight of isolation and open a door to renewed hope.
Whatever season you are in, Cancer Lifeline is with you — offering compassion, community, and care to help you find light, even on the shortest days.
Because no one should face cancer alone.
