Home / Services / Support Groups / Women’s Cancer Support Groups

Once you hear the words, “you have cancer,” everything in your life shifts and changes. Women with any type of cancer diagnosis are welcome at these monthly groups, whether you are newly diagnosed, working your way through treatment or just finishing treatment. Join other women in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment to talk and get support on all the different ways cancer impacts your life. Through educational speakers and open discussion learn ways to help manage your cancer and not be managed by your cancer.

If you are joining a meeting for the first time and are uncertain about how to use the videoconference platform we use for all of our groups, Zoom, please consider reaching out to our Lifeline during regular business hours before the day of the group so that someone with Cancer Lifeline can assist you in getting everything setup and answer questions you have. You can also call us at (206) 297-2100 during normal business hours, M-F 9am-5pm.

Our programming season occurs in four-month trimesters. Thus, the presentations identified on this page are those that will be held at the beginning of the support group meeting for the current program season. Anyone is invited to attend the presentation, regardless of whether you are a member of the support group. When you register, you will have the option of indicating whether you want to join the support group as well.
