Environmental Health for BIPOC Cancer Patients: Reducing Everyday Exposures Sponsored by Cancer Lifeline
For BIPOC cancer patients and people of color living with cancer, environmental factors can be an important part of the conversation around health, recovery, and long-term wellness. This session will explore how everyday environmental exposures—including those in our homes, workplaces, food, and community spaces—may affect the body and overall well-being. Participants will learn practical, manageable ways to reduce exposure to environmental toxins without feeling overwhelmed, along with strategies for taking a proactive approach to wellness while navigating different environments and community spaces. The session will offer information and tools designed to support informed, empowered choices during and after cancer treatment.
