Cancer & Your Nervous System: Practices to Create Calm Sponsored by NW Lymphedema Center

When you are experiencing cancer-related challenges that involve persistent stressors, your nervous system can begin to lose its ability to support your tolerance for even small stressors. It is possible to re-engage your nervous system with specific sequences of movements that support increased calm through an increase in what is called “vagal tone.” Come learn how to engage with these practices and recharge yourself.
