Join us for a heartfelt presentation from a fellow cancer thriver, nurse, and counselor whose lifelong love of horses became an unexpected source of healing during her own recovery. She’ll share how spending time with horses helped her navigate the physical and emotional challenges of cancer treatment, and what the research tells us about equine-assisted therapy’s benefits for stress, anxiety, and emotional resilience. She’ll also introduce Courageous Connections, the stable partnering with Cancer Lifeline to offer equine healing experiences to cancer patients and their families, and how you might get involved.
