This presentation will explore the various aspects of end of life planning and how it can improve quality of life at every stage. People who identify as members of black, indigenous, and other people of color (BIPOC) and are living with a cancer diagnosis are invited to join this presentation.
About the Speakers:
Sharmon Figenshaw, RN, MN, ARNP: Sharmon has over 35 years of experience working with people facing serious illness, providing guidance and support. She’s a licensed Nurse Practitioner specializing in hospice and palliative care, and is passionate about education and communication around advance care planning.
Robb Miller: Robb has spent over 30 years advocating for better end-of-life care and expanded choice. He has extensive experience in the field, including leading End of Life Washington for 15 years and being a key spokesperson for the Washington Death with Dignity Act.
