In this class we’ll discuss various eating plans from around the globe. These include the Nordic way of eating, African Heritage and Latin American Heritage and Asian diets. We’ll have a discussion of The Blue Zones – Beutner and National Geographic’s work researching the lifestyles of 5 communities around the globe who live especially long, healthy lives: Ikaria Greece, Nicoya Costa Rica, Sardinia Italy, 7th Day Adventists in Loma Linda & Okinawa Japan.
