Mind & Body Practices to Benefit Sleep Sponsored by Swedish Cancer Institute

One source of sleep disruption is overstimulation of the nervous system by mental or physical stress during the day. Meditation, mindfulness, and other mind & body practices during the day help us release stress, which in turn helps us sleep better. In this class we will practice several techniques in this field and consider planning for an evening transition to sleep and options to handle waking up in the middle of the night.
